Tarima Mediterraneo 2018
Tarima
A blend 50/50 of Moscatel and Merseguera, resulting in a white, aromatic, exotic, lemony and refreshing wine. Very juicy and fruity, with the muscat taste clearly coming through. Easy drinking with medium acidity and a crisp finish.
About the Vineyard
The Moscatel vineyards are situated between the Sierra de Salinas, Sierra de Umbria and Sierra de La Sima at an altitude of 600 to 750 metres above sea level. The grapes from this vine come from a total of 20 hectares planted 50 years ago. The grapes grown in the low system under natural conditions on Calcareous soil, resulting in very low production.
Wine Production
Indigenous varieties are picked at the beginning of September. At this time the grapes are mature and the musts very clean. Fermenting at a low temperature (16 degrees C), to maintain the fruity tone of the grape, thus obtaining a very aromatic, pleasing wine
