The properties of chamomile are age old knowledge, and Elisir Camomilla is the result of chamomile flowers in an infusion of alcohol, Grappa, and sugar. After about three months the essential oils of the flowers give a golden color and an aroma of summer meadow, and aids in relaxation.

The word chamomile is of Greek origin and means "apple of the earth" because of the apple-like scent emanated when the plant is treaded on. Thanks to its scent, chamomile was added to incense to boost relaxation, meditation and prayer. The infusion of real chamomile flowers in Grappa, following a family recipe from the 30's, is what makes Elisir Poli what it is: the result is a floral elisir, sweet and delicate.
